Pet Rules
We are a dog-friendly park and it is our aim to ensure the comfort, enjoyment and safety of the park and its facilities for all park patrons. Thus, entry is conditional upon the pet owner’s preparedness to abide by the following requirements:
Your responsibility at booking -
- Dogs must be pre-booked at the outset of booking (type, number and breed) – arrival with additional dogs on check-in may result in the booking not being honoured and forfeiture of all monies paid.
- *Maximum of 2 dogs per booking.

Your responsibility throughout your stay -
- Dogs must be contained within your site and on leads at all times within the park bounds.
- Dogs are not to enter any of the communal areas.
- Dogs are not to be left unattended in the park at any time.
- All “poop” is to be bagged and binned.
- Noise to be kept to a minimum and is not to interfere with the quiet enjoyment of other park patrons – no noise after 10

Health - |
- Dogs must be registered and have a current vaccination certificate (with these up to date) – available on request at check-in.
- Dogs must be healthy, ie. free of worms, fleas, etc.

Temperament - |
- Aggressive dogs (or their owners) are simply not welcome.

Off-leash areas - |
- Currently, there are no off-leash areas in the park. However, there is a walking track (by the river) which is located across the road from the park.

Peak periods - |
- During peak periods, only smaller dog breeds will be accepted.
|
|
*Trailered dogs - |
- Must be pre-booked and a maximum of 1 trailer per site / cabin.
|
- Dogs must not be left unattended in trailers at any time.
|
- Trailers may / may not be parked at the site or cabin and is subject to:
|
1. Availability (additional site fees may apply), and
2. Your level of attendance to the dogs to ensure that there is no noise / interference to other guests (particularly between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am). |

Visiting friends – |
| As a paying guest, we welcome your pre-booked dogs only. Dogs attending with friends / family are not permitted entry to the park. |
Breach of rules: may result in the immediate termination of your stay and forfeiture of all monies paid.
Dog facilities
(offered subject to availability).
Kennel facilities – kennels are ‘fixed’ and are located in proximity to the office. Please note this is not a ‘doggy day-care’ facility. It is for day use only. Dogs must be accustomed to being left alone and away from their owners in a strange environment as 1. we are not able to attend one-on-one to fretting/barking dogs, and 2. it is a disturbance to other park patrons. A complementary trial is required prior to you booking an outing / day trip. Ask about our conditions.
Related services
Paws Resort – provides ‘doggy day-care’.
Available: Mon – Sat. (no Sundays). Drop-off: 9 am to 12 noon. Pick-up: 4 pm to 6 pm.
Requirements: bookings to be made at least the day prior. Immunisation certificates to be sighted and must include C5.
Cost: $15 per day per dog.
